Dan was a domestic and site ceramic tiler who moved up to become a contractor circa 2007. He first gained his contractual stripes when he undertook the wall and floor tiling for a referbishment company who fit out two different restaurant chains- Cote brasserie and Bills restaurants. He began employing fitters to help undertake the works which took him to Covent Garden, Kensington, Islington, Cambridge and Bluewater to name a few.
From there he undertook local authority works, local and regional domestic works, alongside the restaurant fit outs.
In 2009 Dan was introduced to HDS group in Gloucester who were main contractors in new build care homes- building homes up to 12million pounds in value. After several successful projects completed, Sussex Ceramics Ltd was formed.
Between 2010-2015 Sussex Ceramics supplied and fitted over 40 care homes all over the country from Brighton to York, while also undertaking new build housing developments and hotels.
Clients include Hallmark, who are repeat winners of the Pinders awards for quality and design in care homes. Other clients include Avery, Carebase, TLC and LRH Homes.
Sussex Ceramics has continued to form bonds with new clients from nationwide house builders, care home builders, local contractors and local domestic works.
